Recent Lifeskills Accredited Achievements
Moving On is proud to celebrate the recent Lifeskills achievements of the young people in MO's Army support group.

Since starting in his role in February, our Education and Prevention Co-ordinator has been developing Moving On's new Lifeskills programme and we are now pleased to announce the successful outcomes for the eight young people who have accessed the free courses.

The group meet every Wednesday at Moving On to complete their learning; all of our courses are recognised and accredited through County Durham Adult Learning, based at Bishop Auckland College.

Recently completed courses include:

Healthy Cooking - 5 certificates awarded

Sexual Health - 6 certificates awarded

Self Esteem - 5 certificates awarded

Confidence Building - 4 certificates awarded

Confident Communication -
3 certificates awarded

This recent success highlights the commitment Moving On has towards young people and the support we offer to the development of new skills to enable those who have been homeless or at risk of homelessness to maintain their tenancy through independent living.

We will continue to celebrate the achievements of the young people who commit to our learning programme so if you are aged 16-25 and live in County Durham and have been affected by homeless issues, get in touch now to see how you could benefit from our Lifeskills programme!

The pictures below show some of the fun things the group have been doing.
