MO's Munchies Cook Book

MO's Army can finally see the results of their long term involvement to develop and produce MO's Munchies cook book. The book contains step by step instructions to show easy to prepare, balanced meals for those living on a tight budget.

A completed run of the cook book was finally printed recently after the young people from MO's Army worked hard to come up with all of the recipes themselves, even naming some after the members in the group.

All of the recipes can be made for under a fiver and most will cost around two to three pounds. They are really easy to make in under twenty minutes either on your own or with help from family and friends.

For extra fun, look out for the jokes at the bottom of the pages, these were written by the young people!

Simon Walsh who is head chef at award winning gastropub, The Barrasford Arms in Northumberland, had the following to say.

"In all the years I've been cooking it's great to see a cook book that's focused on quick, easy and affordable food that doesn't take itself too seriously- after all cooking is fun and should be enjoyed by all whether it's a quick snack or sweet treat. I'm really proud to be associated with Moving On and MO's Army. I really hope you enjoy trying out all of the recipes in MO's Munchies!"

A PDF version of the cook book is available as a download by clicking on the link below so you can print your own copy.
