Young People's Group Work
The Tenancy Survival Support Group (MO's Army) gives young people the opportunity to share experiences and to be involved in social and educational activities as well as exploring ways they can help other young people in housing need.
The group consists of young people aged 16 – 25 who live in the Durham District area and have experienced homelessness or need support to live independantly. The group now meet on a weekly basis to discuss and develop some of their ideas including development of a peer education programme and are involved in planning a range of social and educational activities.
We are hoping to encourage new members to join the group and take part in a range of activities including life skills programmes, sporting activities, social activities and much more.
