With the temperatures set to drop, it is important that you protect both you and your home during the winter months. Here are some tips on what to do when winter is here:

make sure you know where your stopcock is and that it is in working order. A stockpock is usually located in the kitchen, often underneath the kitchen sink

make sure you test your smoke alarms to test they are in working order

remember to have additional blankets / duvets. Please speak to your worker if you require any additional blankets.

remember to check that you have enough credit for gas and electric

use a hot water bottle at night if you get cold. Remember to be careful when dealing with boiling water

remember to shut your curtains to prevent any heat escaping the property
