Help charities like ours: donate. We rely on the generosity of local people to provide support to young homeless people.

Donate now to help break the cycle of youth homelessness

Each year our charity provides support to around 200 young people. As a result, we need to fundraise at least £300,000 every year to maintain our support service.

This equates to around £125 per month per person – and you can help.

How will donating to Moving On Durham help young people near me?

By donating to Moving On Durham you are giving a vulnerable young person the chance of a safe home and a fresh start.

Whether it is a one-off donation or you would like to donate to our charity on a more regular basis, any amount your give will make a real difference to a young person near you.

£5 will pay for little things that make a big difference, such as toiletries and bed linen.
£10 can help provide a young person near you with a safe place to stay.
£50 or more gives a young person the chance to break the cycle of homelessness, Moving On giving them the skills and confidence they need to live independently.

Online: you can easily donate to our charity by visiting Moving On’s JustGiving page:

Acts 435:  You can also donate to us via Acts 435. Acts 435 is a giving website that allows people to give money directly to others, and 100% of what is donated goes directly to those in need.
